We live in the foothills of Southern California with a lot of wild animals such as deer and lots of vegetation.

You can try feeding brewers yeast tablets to your dog. Works repel fleas and ticks can also work well.

Garlic is another try.

Neem oil. Get it on eBay. All natural. Well suited for children with lice, too!

You need to use soap dog is the efficient use of your dog when you take a bath or flea. ;)

You can try to shampoo to prevent fleas, but I'm not sure how well it works.
